We follow the principle of minimal permissions. The extension does not record browsing history, inject tracking scripts, or transmit page data to third parties.

FAQ

What does the extension store locally in my browser?

Only your UI preferences: your custom site URL (chrome.storage.sync), starred favorite tools (favoriteTools in sync storage), and recently launched tool shortcuts with timestamps (recentTools in chrome.storage.local). No personal identity, browsing history, or document contents are ever stored.

Does the extension upload my screenshots?

No. Screenshots captured via the extension are sent directly to the local WASM OCR engine in a new tab.
